It's always awkward starting a blog. Talking at (at the moment) non-existent followers that don't even personally know you. Also, you haven't even established your audience yet. Which makes talking to 'them' very difficult. Oh well, hey ho - I'd better give it a go! What's the worst that could happen?
Well, today is Thursday. We're supposed to love Thursdays. It's near the end of the week and you can just about see the weekend on the horizon. But for me - it's homework day. Time to enjoy the goodness of GCSE English and revise for my History Exam next week. I pour a boiling mug of the finest coffee, sit at my desk and try to summon up all of the brain power I can to write up 500 words in French (Bonjour, Je m'appelle) and I get on with it, frequently sipping at my cup of coffee.
Now, this is all very interesting (!) but I must get on with what I intended to write about today, and that is the deeply troubling matter of High School boys. They've finally matured and realised that girls are what they want right now, and start wondering how they're going to get them. Some of the ugly brutes succeed, but others are not so successful. So boys, if you are reading this and currently having trouble with the laaaaadiies, worry no more for I have the experience and advice that will teach you the do's and don'ts of trying to get the gurl.
***And for the girls reading this, don't you agree? Leave a comment below if you do!***
Firstly, Do be nice.
Banter's fine, but don't be mean and rude - that deeply offends us!
Secondly, Don't confuse us.
OK, us girls can be very confusing ourselves but we honestly have no way of avoiding it. However, you flirting with us and then moving straight onto the next girl is just not on.
Thirdly, Don't always online-message us.
You don't like it and neither do we! Being bothered all the time by someone who you don't normally talk to or just don't like is annoying. Talk to us in the real-world and I can guarantee that you will stand a much better chance of us falling for you.
Finally, Do be yourself.
Fine, fine, I know you read this and sighed. 'That's what they all say' you thought. But no, it's true. Don't be 100% yourself (because of all burping and extreme oddness) but DON'T pretend to be someone you aren't. If a girl doesn't like you yet - that's fine she'll either become really good friends or she may fall for you - you never know.
Oh, and by the way don't comment on her moods - that's a whole load of lecture you never wanna hear.
Au Revoir,
Becca
P.S. I don't like coffee, I realised halfway through the mug. It tastes like ground.
