The Perks of Being a Wallflower Music

Recently, I watched a beautiful film that many of you will have heard about. It's called The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and indie film set out to strike hope and love into the hearts of teenagers everywhere.
Anyway, a big review will be coming up shortly! But first, I wanted to introduce to you the beautiful soundtrack of the film...

Now I, being one of your typical teenagers, have a very good relationship with music. It's there when you cry, when you laugh and with you through your life.

The music of this film is some of the best that I have ever heard coming from a movie.

*Just a little health warning - I have a very indie taste in music and I appreciate that a lot of you will turn your noses up in disgust at most of the songs in the film!*

Dear God - XTC

Pearly Dewdrops ' drops - Cocteau Twins

Charlie's Last Letter - Michael Brook (The official composer of the soundtrack)

Low - Cracker

Teenage Riot - Sonic Youth

Heroes - David Bowie (The Tunnel Song)

Could it be another change - The Samples (One of my personal favourites)

Asleep - The Smiths (absolutely lush, lovely lyrics also one of my faves)

Temptation - New Order (You'll love it, slightly more upbeat)

Evensong - The Innocence Mission (love)

Tugboat - Galaxie 500

Pretend That We're Dead (Classic Rock grunge, the video link has awful quality)

Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House

Come On Eileen - Dexy's Midnight Runners (COME ON EVERYBODY KNOWS IT, instant pain relief)

Don't Dream it's Over - Crowded House (simply great)
